We are at a turning point in the fight against malaria. Thanks to innovative programs and continued global investments, malaria rates have plummeted, and the health and well-being of people around the world have improved as communities move toward being malaria-free. In fact, nearly one-third of all countries affected by malaria are on course to eliminate the disease within the next decade.
Making Malaria History, an initiative of the Malaria Control and Elimination Partnership in Africa (MACEPA) project at PATH, was created to share the latest evidence and tools as we learn lessons, celebrate progress, and draw inspiration from global malaria elimination progress.
MACEPA is one of many global stakeholders piloting innovative approaches to malaria elimination. Learn more about our work here.
