In his first official visit to the US since his appointment as executive director of The Global Fund, Dr. Mark Dybul will be in Washington, DC on February 4 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, for some coffee and pastries with advocates from the global health, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria communities. The Global Fund, which just secured a whopping 1 billion Euro donation from the Germans, is a key fixture in the fight against malaria and Dr. Dybul will share his vision for the financing agency going forward. He will also discuss this fall’s Global Fund Replenishment effort and answer questions.
The meeting will take place at the offices of the UN Foundation at 1615 M Street NW, 7th Floor, Washington, DC 20036.
To attend, RSVP to Lissette Miller at Lissette@theglobalfight.org by COB on Wednesday, January 30.
